went for the interview, got the job, starting tomorrow, working afternoon, fullstop, bye. not that short lar. but yeah, I did survive the interview. heehee. praise the Lord! so I'll be pretty busy...mum forcing me to learn driving, work AND take piano grade 8 at the same time. don't know if I'll be able to do it. so anyway...went downtown with my kung kung today and watched a movie : The Mist. it was pretty much the only option we had. here's a warning: don't go watch it. unless you want to catch up on some much needed sleep. I thought it would be like some horror movie or some ghost flick at least but I could hardly keep awake the first 45 mins of the movie and thankfully the 2nd half of the movie was 'slightly' better. the main character is kinda cute though. heehee. but the worst thing is...there was this character who was a Christian and she tried convincing the people (the people were stuck in this supermarket cos there's some creature in the mist outside that devours humans) that its the end times and God's judgement has come upon them. the way they created her character gave an image that Christians are violent, aggressive people. which we're not. so that's the bad part. really, really bad. and halfway through the movie, the people actually become divided: three quarters for the Christian woman and one quarter for the main character. and the Christian woman actually convinces the people that the main character's group are sinners and people who are unwilling to repent. and they actually go to the extend of wanting to sacrifice the main character's group of people to the 'creature'!!! yo...that's not the way you do it, man! bad, bad, bad. rating : -1 stars. maybe that's why the show is rated 18. yeah that's right. my first 18PL showww!! what...are the producers anti-Christianity or something? the ending wasn't all that great either. ishh. but the animation was kinda cool. heehee. oops AI is starting soon. gotta go! ciaos! |
